As the new semester has begun, are you, as a student, looking for new opportunities for: friendships, activities, social causes, or most importantly, grow as a person? As the semester is now into it's second week, look for those things. It will only make your time here at Purdue more valuable. Ask, seek, and find.
That last sentence actually is found in the Bible. In the book of Matthew, in the 7th chapter, and the 7th verse, Jesus says, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." Now the meaning is something greater. If you are curious, contact me or call out to God for yourself.
My challenge to you is to pursue more than just an education. It is VERY important! However, there are things that are even MORE than education!
As the Director of ICM, my desire is to connect with the international students at Purdue University along with connecting them with American friends. This blog is some personal thoughts and stories from our experiences.
